In our line of work, there are two primary ways in which our work is judged – by quality, and by amount of time it takes to complete. For precision fabrication, this often requires a complementary mix of talented professionals and advanced machinery – and the business experience to know the best way in which to complete a job so that it conforms to our quality standards in a timely way.
There are some operations that a machine just can’t do as well or as quickly as a qualified professional – for instance, a one-off welding job that is complicated, on-site, or involves any number of complicating factors. However, there are other things that humans just can’t do in the same way that an automated machine can – think production runs of repeated operations. As a custom metal fabrication shop, it is in our best interest and our customer’s best interests that we have as many options from which to choose the “how” of the completion of the job as possible, to get the best result in the best possible time.
In this spirit, we have purchased a new robotic welding machine for our Ohio location. As mentioned before, this will facilitate the timely completion of certain types of jobs, and allow us yet another option for getting the job done. It is just the latest improvement to our arsenal of trained and experienced professionals, and modern machinery. We’re on a continual mission to improve our potential offerings to our customers, and to expand the capabilities of our business – both things improved by the purchase of the new robotics.
We’re excited to see how our new toy can serve our customers in the future – be sure to contact us with your next fabrication request, and see just how efficient our team of professionals working in tandem with the latest technology can be.
